Fire awareness training is aimed at all staff. It is a legal requirement that all staff receives training on induction and at regular intervals thereafter.

• The triangle of fire.

• Types of fire.

• Causes of fire

• Hazard spotting / hazard reduction.

• Basic fire prevention.

• Actions to be taken in the event of fire.

• Escape routes and their importance.

• Fire notices and signs.

• Assembly points and roll calls.

• Fire extinguishers.

• Practical demonstration, allowing students to extinguish different types of fire, using fire extinguishers on our environmentally friendly fire simulators
